Cities & culture :
- Antibes is an old greco-roman city with magnificent ramparts and its Picasso museum. Every thursday morning, the provencal market spreads its pallet of perfums and colours throughout the old downtown. (~15kms)
 
- Cannes, well-known for its annual film festival organised during the month of May on its worldfamous “Croisette” where one can stroll along the seafront in the shade of palmtrees. (~10kms)
 
- Grasse is the capital of the perfume industry. You’ll be able to visit some of their factories and appreciate the sophisticated blends of delicate aromas. (~8kms)
 
- Nice with its narrow shady streets in the old part of town and picturesque dayly flower and fish markets (excepts on mondays). The city  offers a large choice of museums with paintings of Matisse, Chagall and “art naîf”(~30kms)
 
- Menton is well known for its annual “fête du citron” (Lime festival) and magnificent exotic gardens.   You can visit the museum dedicated to Jean Cocteau.
 
- Monaco offers you a splendid view on the sea. You can visit quite a number of famous places such as the Grimaldi castle, the Oceanographic museum and the Casino of Monte-Carlo.
 
- St Paul de Vence has been an inspiration for many poets, writers and artists. The fondation Maeght organizes exhibits regularly fine artworks.
